In Memory: Honoring the Legacy of Richard Icenhower

This year’s awards banquet also included a moment of reflection as we honored the life and legacy of Richard Icenhower, a founding member of the Fair Grove Chamber of Commerce.

Richard was instrumental in helping build the foundation of the Chamber. He believed deeply in the future of Fair Grove and dedicated countless hours to seeing it grow and thrive. Over the years, he volunteered in numerous capacities, always willing to lend his time, leadership, and steady presence wherever it was needed.

His service was marked by humility and consistency — the kind that doesn’t seek attention but leaves a lasting imprint.

While Richard is no longer with us, his influence remains visible in the strength of our Chamber and the spirit of collaboration within our community. His family accepted this memorial recognition on his behalf, and we were honored to celebrate a life so faithfully lived in service to others.
