Eagle Humanitarian Award: Honoring Charlie Holt

At our December Chamber Awards Banquet, we had the privilege of recognizing a leader whose quiet service and steady commitment have made a lasting impact on Fair Grove.

Charlie Holt, Commander of the American Legion, was named this year’s recipient of the Eagle Humanitarian Award — an honor given to individuals who exemplify selfless service and community dedication.

Charlie is the kind of person who shows up — not for recognition, but because there is work to be done. Through his leadership with the American Legion, he has supported veterans, strengthened community programs, and consistently stepped in wherever help was needed. His integrity, compassion, and willingness to serve reflect the very best of Fair Grove.

True humanitarianism isn’t loud. It’s consistent. It’s dependable. It’s rooted in care for others.

Charlie embodies all of those qualities. We are proud to celebrate his service and grateful for the example he sets in our community.

Congratulations, Charlie, on this well-deserved recognition.
