Meeting Minutes – March 3, 2026

Call to Order: 12:04 PM

Lunch: Thank you to Elevation Studio for providing today’s lunch.

Approval of Minutes: Minutes from the previous meeting were approved.

Featured Speaker: Lisa Ritter from Festoons and Filigree presented on “Voices We Hear” in business. She shared insights from her past career and discussed the business she has built today.

Member Spotlight: Sara Bock with Aasby Automotive highlighted recent business developments. She and her business partner purchased the business from her father a few years ago and opened a second location in Nixa in December, which is now operational.

President’s Report:

• Easter Egg Hunt scheduled for Saturday, March 28 at 1:00 PM.

• Three volunteers are needed for the scholarship committee. Charlie Holt and Mark Bennett have volunteered; one additional volunteer is still needed. Interested members should contact Rick.

Vice President’s Report:

• Membership registration is still open. Members are encouraged to register online.

• Sign-up sheets are being circulated for sponsorship and speaking opportunities.

Treasurer’s Report: $20,880.09

Member Announcements:

• Fair Grove Senior Center: Cinnamon rolls for sale March 27-28.

• Park Board: Planning a community center, with groundbreaking expected in the coming months.

• Fair Grove Historical Society: Workday scheduled the Saturday before the Easter Egg Hunt; the Ice Cream Social will be held again this year; preparations for the Heritage Reunion are underway.

• American Legion: Monthly breakfast event on the second Saturday; partnering with the school for a speech event; planning a time capsule with opportunities for business participation; additional projects in progress.

• Elevation Studio has volunteered dancers for the Ice Cream Social.
