Monthly Chamber Meeting Minutes
June 2, 2026

The meeting was called to order at 12:05 p.m.

The Chamber would like to thank Central Bank for providing lunch for today's meeting.

President's Report

• A pizza party will be held for the students who assisted with stuffing eggs for the Easter Egg Hunt as a thank-you for their help.

• Scholarship recipients will attend next month's Chamber meeting.

• One additional member was needed for the Bylaws Committee. Justin Loveday volunteered to serve on the committee.

• Lisa Ritter was appointed to serve as chairperson of the Bylaws Committee.

Group Discussion

Rick led a collaborative group discussion focused on ways to support and grow local businesses. Chamber members shared ideas, experiences, and insights, resulting in a productive conversation about strengthening the business community.

Member Announcements

• The Fair Grove Fire Department will host an Open House on June 13.

• The Historical Society is preparing for its upcoming Ice Cream Social and has begun selling advertisements for its booklet.

• The American Legion announced its upcoming Biscuits and Gravy event. Members are also placing flags on the graves of departed soldiers. Flyers are available for those interested in purchasing a memorial flag in honor of a loved one.

Adjournment

The Chamber would like to again thank Central Bank for providing lunch.

A motion was made to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed, and the meeting was adjourned.
